This privacy policy explains the documented ways Defiant Shirts collects and manages personal information through newsletter signup forms and direct contact messages. It does not claim to describe every technical process that may occur through the website’s host or other services.
Newsletter signup information
When a signup form is presented, the invitation reads: “Join the Defiant Shirts list for future articles and reading suggestions.” The form asks for an email address and explicit agreement to the statement: “I agree to receive email updates from Defiant Shirts.”
A signup stores the email address, a hash used to identify duplicate entries, the signup time, the source page path without its query string or fragment, the accepted consent wording, and the record’s collection status. These details are stored in the site’s WordPress database.
Collection is enabled for future updates. Email delivery, confirmation, and unsubscribe functions require separate configuration, so submitting a form does not mean an active mailing service or regular sending schedule is currently in place.
Contact messages
If you email contact@defiantshirts.com, Defiant Shirts receives the information you choose to provide. This may include your email address, message, and any attachments you send. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed to answer your request.
Record access and retention
Authorized site administrators can view, export, and remove newsletter signup records. These records are also included in WordPress personal-data export and erasure processes. Newsletter records remain in the database until an administrator removes them or an erasure request is processed.
The signup system also creates temporary anti-spam rate records using hashed network identifiers. Those temporary records are subject to periodic cleanup. This does not mean that hosting systems never record internet protocol addresses or other technical request data.
Your choices

Provide enough information to locate the relevant record. Where applicable, the request will be handled through the available WordPress export or erasure process.
